Job Summary: Permanent, full time position available at Turner Dental Laboratory Ltd.’s Victoria, BC location. This position reports directly to the Crown & Bridge department manager, and the primary role is applying porcelain and finishing all porcelain restorations in a professional laboratory setting alongside Registered Dental Technicians and other Dental Technician Assistants. Detailed list of duties: • Waxing up full gold crowns, porcelain fused to metal units, bridges, implants, e.max restorations • Finishing, using 8-10X microscopic magnification • Restoration types include PFM’s, IPS e.max®, 3M Lava™, and porcelain veneers. • Communication with dental professionals, both written and oral Qualifications: Experience in all aspects of porcelain and crown and bridge restorations in a laboratory setting is essential. Must be able to wax full contour for IPS e.max®. Licensure with provincial regulatory body is required. Must be dependable, responsible, excellent proficiency with reading, writing, and speaking English, outstanding communication and inter-personal skills is required. The ability to complete cases with an emphasis on quality in an organized and timely fashion is necessary for success in this position. Details: The regular hours of work for this position are Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. This position is paid on a per-unit basis. Extended health and dental benefits are available after a three month probationary period. Signing bonus and very competitive wages are negotiable for the right candidate. 

Qualifications and Experience
Potential for immediate start date. Preference given to candidates with current or in process PR status, who are local or, with relocation plans.
